We believe that every person is created to know God and to live in relationship with Him. Yet many people are still searching for meaning, identity, and purpose, and others have never had the opportunity to truly encounter the love of Jesus.
At Youth With A Mission Palm Beach, our heart is to see people come alive in that relationship. We are passionate about creating space for people to encounter God, be formed through discipleship, and discover their role in His mission.
That’s why we exist.
We are a community committed to equipping and mobilizing people to know God and make Him known. Through discipleship training, evangelism, and outreach, we help individuals discover their identity, grow in their faith, and step into their calling to impact others with the love of Christ.
Our story began in 2026, when we were sent out from YWAM Worcester in South Africa to pioneer a new work in West Palm Beach. This work was launched in partnership with Urban Youth Impact, a local nonprofit serving the community, which helped lay a foundation for meaningful, long-term engagement in the city.
What started as a step of faith has become a growing expression of YWAM’s global mission: to see lives transformed and communities impacted through the Gospel.
Today, we continue to build a place where people can encounter God, be equipped for mission, and be sent out to serve both locally in West Palm Beach and in nations around the world.
Our Founders
In 1960, Loren and Darlene Cunningham followed a God-given vision to see "waves of young people" carrying the Gospel to every nation.
Together, they pioneered a movement that has empowered millions to serve the global mission field.
While Loren’s visionary leadership opened doors to every country on earth, Darlene’s wisdom shaped the foundational values that continue to guide our community today.
Our story began in different parts of the world. Brian from the United States, Lis from Brazil. It was in South Africa that our ministry was formed, where years of serving, leading, and investing in people shaped the calling we now carry into this next season.
After years of serving at YWAM Worcester, walking with students, leading teams, and investing deeply in people’s lives, we’re stepping into a new season in West Palm Beach.
Brian brings a steady, grounding presence, while Lis leads with relational warmth and intuition. Together, we create environments where people feel safe, seen, and invited to grow.
We’re carrying the same heart for people into a new place, trusting God to keep doing what He’s always done.
